We took the trip down to Osaka and one of the first spots we hit was Ayumis friend Tairas coffee shop. This shop was like no other coffee shop ive ever seen. It didnt have a name, and it didnt pop up on google. And the most interesting part was how crowded and local driven this shop was. It had zero tourist personality and that really caught my interest. He only served 2 drinks Iced Lattes and Iced Americanos. 

The shop was located directly across the street from a playground that featured red and green details that almost called back to the shops aesthtic of happy meal toys and stainless steel architecture. Each seeting section was wrapped with amazon cardboard and could only seat roughly 6 people. 

The sense of community at this shop was so beautiful to see. Locals from around Orange street would pour into the shop as we hung out in the space. We got to meet a wonderful Japanese American family that owned a few businesses from the neighborhood and gave us a recs.
