📍: Mystic, Connecticut 

We took the short drive from Oxford, Connecticut, down to Mystic for a quick day trip. As soon as we touched down, our first stop was Off the Hook for some buttery lobster rolls before taking a stroll through town. I especially loved all the hand-painted signs and charming design details throughout the main strip.

The weather was beautiful, but Mystic itself felt a little too crowded and touristy for me. I did manage to find a great camouflage Greek military jacket at the army surplus store, which made the trip worth it. We ended the afternoon with a Narragansett beer along the pier before heading back home early to beat the traffic.
